What is a visitor visa?
A visitor visa for family or friends is a short-stay visa allowing foreign nationals to enter a destination country to visit family members, relatives or friends who legally reside there.
This visa commonly allows stays of no more than 90 days, depending on each country's rules. Applicants need a host or sponsor who confirms accommodation or expenses during the visit.
