Required documents
Complete and accurate documents are key to a successful visa application. We have grouped basic documents to make them easier to review.
Before preparing documents
Choosing appropriate documents and keeping employment, finances, travel purpose and applicant history consistent is more important than submitting unnecessary paperwork.

Basic visa application documents
Personal documents
Passport valid for at least six more months
Copy of national ID card
Copy of house registration
Name-change certificate, if applicable
Marriage certificate, if applicable
Divorce certificate, if applicable
Financial documents
Bank statements for the past six months
Bank financial-status certificate (Bank Guarantee)
Evidence of other assets, such as land deeds or investment funds
Employment documents
Documents confirming the applicant's occupation, job title, workplace and income, showing employment status and ties to their country of residence to the embassy or relevant authority.
Employees
Employment certificate in English
Clearly state the position, salary, employment start date and authorised leave dates.
Payslips
Past three to six months; preferably original carbon-copy slips or printouts from the company's system.
Business owners
Company registration certificate (DBD)
Issued within the past three to six months, with an English translation where required by the embassy.
Tax evidence / income records
VAT registration (Por Por 20) or other business registration documents
Freelancers / self-employed
Work explanation letter (Cover Letter)
Explain the work and income sources, and attach a portfolio.
Contracts / withholding tax certificates (50 Tawi)
To show genuine paid work and transactions in the bank account.
If you have a host
For travellers invited to stay with a friend, relative or partner.
Invitation letter
Host's passport identification page
Accommodation evidence: lease, property deed or utility bills
Relationship evidence: photographs or chat records
If you have a sponsor
Where the host or another person covers all expenses.
Bank Guarantee in English
Bank statements for the past six months
Sponsorship letter
Evidence of the sponsor's source of income
